Addicted To Love, a deadly serious sexvid soaper, features one of pom's freshest new views on obsessive/compulsive sexual behavior. Angel Kelly, in the performance of her career, stars as the psychotic divorcee of a police detective, hell bent on using her body to achieve some very immoral things.
Tracey Adams, in the performance of her career as well, plays the divorce attorney who handles Kelly's case only to become engulfed in this black beauty's web of sexual ambiguity. Kelly is the addicted one here, lying and corrupting like any alcoholic or drug addict. If I sound vague, I don't want to ruin the plot twists. However, Addicted To Love gives an honest, if sometimes uneven, accounting of a very real subject.
John Leslie as Adams' spouse plays one of his calling card performances to the hilt, and in one dramatically erotic scene with her, ravages that beautiful body in the name of love. Kelly's scene with Silvera provides another sexual highlight.
Paul Thomas' direction is crisp and creative, with no apparent problems, and resourceful editing and videography. The script moves at a breakneck pace and the erotic scenes do not interrupt the flow of the story. Packaging, from the look of the flyer, is different and hot-looking (featuring Adams). All of this adds up to an excellent new sexvid... one that stores should certainly carry for big profits.
