This latest Hollywood Video release of six Star Cuts helps the company celebrate an anniversary of sorts.  Along with their Starlets series of half-hour featurettes, the company has 150 half-hour tapes in its library, the largest such collection in the industry.

As usual with half-hour tapes culled from other sources, the quality varies.  The best of the lot are the numbers starring Blondie (looking very pretty in her two hot scenes with -- you guessed it -- Tony Montana) and the Barbie Dahl duo (she looks awfully hot).

The Purple Passion tape features one long scene (with anal action) and a series of Star Cuts previews. Susan Hart's latest vehicle has one dull scene with Harry Reems and a scorcher from the film Radio K-Kum (a three-way involving Susan and a younger Tom Byron).

On the down side, unless you're a Kristara Barrington fanatic, her tape, which includes anal action, suffers from blurred video vision.  The Buffy Davis tape is OK, although one of the two segments is badly lit. Fans of Buffy might want to check out the other scene, however.

Star Cuts are perfect sell-through tapes for adventurous video stores, as the packaging is first-rate.  Hollywood generally delivers good product for fans of particular stars looking to warm up with all-action tapes.
