Writer/director Paul Thomas' latest entry in the Brat series doesn't quite hit the mark of its predecessors, but thanks to fine performances from the leads makes for erotic, entertaining viewing.  While waiting in a redneck bar for their car to be repaired, Jamie the Brat and Tom Byron get "waylaid" by a biker gang, giving Summers all the impetus she needs (which fans of the series know isn't much) to leave Byron standing at the bar and head out on the highway.  Don't feel bad for hubby, though. He's got barmaid Nikki Knights to console him, and before long pampered Princess Summers is tired of the "easy rider" life.

Jamie gives her customary fine turn in the title role, blending her sizzling sexuality with the fine comedic instincts of an established actress.  Close behind her is the underrated Knights, whose scene with Byron in the saloon comes close to stealing the spotlight.  Also well served is Erica boyer as a biker gal who shows the Brat that you don't need a clutch to rev an engine (if you know what I mean and I think you do), following her earlier seduction of Byron.

One of the better, creative talents in the field today, Thomas' average entries are more interesting than many filmmaker's best efforts. And The Wild Brat is certainly above average.
