After hearing all the hype about how Jamie Summers would help former all-male star Jeff Stryker's jump into straight sex, the least Paul Thomas could have done was save their torrid love affair for the climax of the tape. You know, build a little anticipation, a little desire. Instead we see a somewhat nervous Stryker (suffering slightly from penis limpus) first with a hungry Megan Leigh (nice oral skills), and then Summers in two separate scenes. They're good scenes, but they could have been even better with a little emotional foreplay.

Summers and Stryker were high school lovers who find a spark (hell, a forest fire) still lingers when they meet at their fifth-year reunion. To the chagrin of their spouses (Tom Byron and Leigh respectively), the two lovebirds can't keep their hands off each other and go traipsing through the playground on their way to a little afternoon delight. Of course Byron and Leigh (with the help of reunion slut

Nikki Knights) have their own fun backstage at the reunion, where Leigh once again shows her bottomless oral talents. And what an understanding pair! They agree the only way our two stars can squelch their feelings for each other is to have "one for the road."

Sexually, all the scenes generate some heat (although you need a shoehorn to explain the Summers/Erica Boyer lesbian scene). The cast acts well, and is attractive enough to appeal to both viewing sexes. The contrast between Leigh's animalism and Summers' sensuality is striking, and Stryker plays off both quite well. Writer/director/producer Thomas does a nice job of capturing all the graphic action without being too graphic, as well as the outdoor scenes to deliver a complete package. As a shot-on-video feature Jamie Loves Jeff is better than most. But it just doesn't live up to its own hype.
