Party Animals is clinical example of what should or shouldn't be accomplished with the basic one set backdrop. Here, a brown living room couch is the repository for a storyline that basically consists of friends dropping in to takeoff their clothes and mutually partake of the glories of the body crevice.
It would seem that hostess Frankie Leigh and husband Miles Melon are tossing an orgy, at least that's the rationale that would suggest the manner of behavior. Then, we get some interruptive gizmo plot device that has space alien. Dana Lynn, beaming down from the planet Dyke-o, followed by the appearance of the ubiquitous Billy Dee delivering an interminable pizza.
When scenes shift from living room couch, it's usually to an adjacent armchair for more of same, but with altered sexual positions to accommodate the major shift in geography. A good guess is that this cast was put together from attendees at Sasha Gabor's recent nuptials in Vegas. For all we know, this might have been the reception.
