First I'm going to tell you about the good stuff. There is more than one set, and some of the scenes are shot outside, and Porsche Lynn is in it.

The story is a convoluted contrivance about lost money, dead bodies, gigolos, rich ladies, suicide, infidelity and one of the worst false beards in the history of film or video. There's a scene in which the guy walks into his paramour's home and sees a couple doing it in another room. There is no reason why, they are just doing it ... and the male partner still has his undies on. Maybe that's the way Fellini would have shot the scene, but it makes no sense to me.

There are attempts at humor, but they are not funny. It's one thing to get a competent cast, and I have witnessed the capability of the cast to do excellent work. It's another to create asexual compatibility of the combatants, and yet another to get a group together to have regionally isolated acts of sex. That, in a nutshell, sums up Tropical Lust.
