It's been a while since we've had a solid sexvid that long-marrieds can relate to, and this is a fine example.  Wed to Brandy Alexandre for eight years, Steve Drake begins experiencing "the itch".  While Alexandre is content, he's plagued with sexual boredom.  The voice-overs which the both of them often express are starkly real and strike definite chords with viewers (like me) who've had the knot tied for as long.

The sex throughout is talkative and genuine, especially Drake's nervousness when he finally takes the plunge with waitress Kym Wilde.  The contrast between her matter-of-factness and his obviously conflicting emotions is both sensitive and stimulating.  Finally, Drake realizes the error of his ways and admits he got a little off track.  This makes for a sensual reunion with his wife, and in case you were wondering, after seeing the title, yes, Alexandre does offer Drake her luscious rear for the poking.

This is good couple's fare without being sappy, and there's actually believable character development.  Director Ross' script is solid, Ron Vogel's sets are works of art, as usual, and the music is quiet and unobtrusive.  All around, this is a fine higher-budget effort from Dreamland...and the ultra-attractive rear-view of Alexandre on the box cover won't hurt sales either.
