Reviews

Operating in an arena formerly dominated by Anthony Spinelli, director Michael Craig has become something of an expert in the genre of sexual psych-drama. The sex scenes have a passion and resonance that at once propel the plot and stimulate the viewer. Add to that the fact that Craig knows his way around a movie camera and you have one of the best erotic films of the year.

Mike Horner, in an obvious award-worthy role, plays a doctor whose psychological book on "hidden fantasies" has enthralled the mind and being of Victoria Paris. She obsesses on Horner, at once willing to play his game and unleash her own sexual fantasies and yet afraid to totally release her sexual being to her husband, Jon Dough.

Each sex scene has its own pace and sense of importance. Though the eroticism is there, the viewer never loses where it all fits into the story. Victoria Paris, obviously the star and the reason fans will want to rent or buy this, performs in two very hot and well-orchestrated sex scenes. With Jon Dough, there's an amazing intensity in the screwing, even when Dough comes all over Victoria's lovely tits. The final sex scene with Mike Horner has a special meaning that, if described here, might ruin a clever plot twist. Cassidy and Mike Horner's stunning opening sex scene sets the pace and the "performance art" erotic tumbler with Sharise and Nick E. is quite hot as well.

Michael Craig's direction is flawless; whether the guy shoots on video or film (as he has here), the camera movements are smooth, the lighting is perfect and the pacing seems just right. The Seduction of Mary excels in all of the important areas, sexual and otherwise, and retailers should take note.
