The sultry Kym Wilde maybe the Betty Page of the 1990s. If there is any one tape to lend support to that contention, it is Forbidden Pleasures in which Wilde performs what is tantamount to a one-woman Broadway bondage show.
It is even reasonable to suggest that Wilde may have also given the best performance of the year, and certainly, were this a full-length feature, she would have received my vote as best actress hands-down.
Wilde plays a tormented patient who seeks help from her doctor (Bill Majors) to cope with her erotic dreams and fantasies. They are fantasies about being whipped and spanked and humiliated. Under hypnosis, she dreams she is a captive of the Marquis de Sade (played very well by Sonny Daze). Her gorgeous body is also tested with hot wax in what may be the definitive scene on that subject.
There is an interrogation sequence in which she is stripped naked, that is raw, primitive and intense. The show as a whole is exquisite, and Wilde's bondage sequences are sensuously lit and choreographed with passion. This is one of the best bondage tapes ever produced and destined to be a classic.
