As an admirer of Fred Halsted’s earlier work (Revenge Of The Night Hawk, A Night At Halsted’s), I was eagerly anticipating his return to the director’s seat after a two year absence. Perhaps the anticipation set me up for a disappointment, but this series of four episodes, with a common theme of men in uniform, seems to lack Halsted’s former vision. It’s not that the video is “bad”; it’s just that it doesn’t live up to Halsted’s best.
