The Hardcore Café is a smoky European Bistro that features surreal sexual entertainment for the gaping masses. Or is that gap toothed judging by some of the audience? Well, anyway Americans Tom Byron and Tracey Adams get to play “innocents abroad” as they’re lead into this den of iniquity by fellow travelers (British). Right from the get go, the Tracer is being “recruited” by Misty Regan who’s kind of like the unofficial talent agency for the joint. “You know what happens when you put two women together in a room full of clothes?” asks bistro m.c. Charlie, a kind of porked-up Rutger Hauer. We never hear his punchline. Doesn’t matter.

Albeit, the fantasy sex acts live passably up to form particularly a black mass pentagrammic multi-directional circle jerk. Bodies are all over creation and the camera does a marvelous job of focusing in on the traffic. Hardcore Café is one of the seasons more interesting lab experiments combining avant garde eroticism and solid production technique.
