I don't think "Brat" is the exact term I would use to describe Jamie Summers' character in The Brat. I can think of something a lot stronger for a woman who's proud that "I didn't get married for sex. I got married to shop!"
Well, you can imagine what this is doing to husband Jerry Butler. He's so frustrated, even a heated exhibition by partner Joey Silvera and his spouse Sheena Home does nothing to arouse him. But Butler is only human, and falls prey to his secretaries, Siobhan Hunter (who wants to marry him) and Brittany Stryker (who's just along for the ride). And what a ride! Stryker looks excellent in her white garters, and Hunter's attack has Butler comically gasping for air. But things really get hot when Summers sees a videotape of her husband's late night at the office (thanks to Hunter). First the "JAP-ish" Summers gets it on with best friend Krista Lane, and then seduces Silvera in her own bathroom. Then Home, who's angry her husband didn't invite her in, gets even by getting Butler in the sack for a vengeful tryst. But as in all good stories, everybody (but Hunter) lives happily ever after.
Kudos must go to writer Paul Thomas for a well-developed and, at times, funny script. Summers, especially, gives a nice performance, staying within her character in every scene but one (a skill not found often in adult actresses), and that exception was a script error. On the editing side there are a couple of drawbacks (out-of-synch voices in the beginning, off-camera voices and vocal doorbells), but they don't really take away from this erotic and entertaining shot-on-video feature.
