I'm kidding, right? Another damn sex-vampire story, and it's erotic. Hungry is stylish, sexy, well-acted, technically superb, and has the best art direction in an adult video I've ever seen. Peter North is the 800-year old Dario, and Samantha Strong is his lover-fellow vampire. They run the exclusive "Hungry" caterers, and seduce a series of victims, whose deaths are being investigated by cops Long and Dough, joined by investigative reporter Alexis DeVell, whose sister Shayla is North's latest victim.

Shayla and  Peter have a torrid coupling in a cemetery (on a grave whose tombstone reads "PT"). Shayla, sad to say, has opted for a TITDTZ (tits in two different time zones) boob job, but she retains all her sexual allure, and North spews a trademark load on her new chest (the official christening, you might say), before sucking out all her lifeforce. We see a brilliant flashback to Samantha's first victim seduction after becoming a vampiress: a tease of shy Victorian gentleman Nick East. While North looks on approvingly, Sam sucks his life out through his cock. What a way to go! The costumes, sets, and lighting are extraordinary — as they are throughout. A very convincing "cold room" set at the Hungry caterers is the site for produce suppliers Alicia and Cal, under the spell of the vampires, to fuck wildly among the vegies, only to fall victim at the end of their wild coupling.

The "murders" confound hardass cop Woody Long, who resents reporter Alexis. She receives more welcoming treatment from Long's sympathetic partner Jon Dough, and they fuck wildly on his desk in the precinct house (another excellent set, by the way), with Dough flooding her huge boobs with cum. Long, in turn, drinking at home, is "visited" by the "ghosts" of Shayla and Samantha, who tantalize him in what starts out as his bed, only to be transformed into a Victorian relic. The action is terrific, with Samantha's churning hips as she devours Shayla's snatch a magnetic center for this scene. The first half of this epic ends as Samantha confronts Dough, working undercover as their deliveryman, questions him, sucks his cock, and draws the life from him, as well, setting us up for Part Two, where Long and DeVell will have to overcome their mutual distrust to counter the thrall of North and Strong, and solve the mystery. I can't wait to see more.

Mention should also be made of superb sound and sound effects, so rare in adult video, as well as special effects, and an unwavering attention to details that enhances the atmosphere and sexual heat. Nominations in all technical categories, acting nods to probably all five principal characters, a Best Tease for Strong, Best Screenplay, and don't forget typically superb Sin City packaging (check out last month's AVN cover).
