Sex and the Secretary takes us to the old familiar neighborhoods of Spinelli morality digests which are now beginning to stare at us like open face sandwiches. Here, Jamie Gillis in his standard hardboiled colloquy, informs us he's conducting some kind of sex survey among typical office generics: the secretary(Lynn LeMay) who's having a doomed affair with her boss (Mike Horner); the emasculated male (Joey Silvera); the power crazed female exec (Ona Zee), and the subordinate (Nina Hartley) who's having an affair with her lady boss (Alexis Greco).
Gillis listens to their open wound confessions with the languor of someone having the NFL wild card system explained to him. With good reason. The sex flashbacks are far more interesting than the introspection. LeMay, who at the time told me she wanted to work with Horner in the worst way, pays sexual dividends with original optimum vigor; Cheri Taylor's body is marvelously erotic (we want more of her!); and the Hartley/Greco fandango is a mouthwatering salad bar of legs and ass. By far, the sexiest Spinelli feature I've seen in ages. It's just that the breast beating is beginning to show tread wear.
