Prediction: Angel’s Back will be one of the year’s best selling and renting tapes. It has all the elements to be a hit. Angel hasn’t appeared in a new feature in over two years and her appeal is enormous: the packaging amply displays her lovely face and body; and expectations for this well-marketed title are high.

Inside the package is a pleasant enough feature with some scorching sex scenes and a very disjoined “story.” Two adult film critics (Gene Ross and Jim Holloway) decide to search for the elusive Angel and dispel the rumors as to her whereabouts. On the way, the guys (Jon Martin and Mike Horner) have sex with Nina Hartley; fantasize about Angel going down on a sultan (Sasha Gabor) and finally come into contact with her lovely presence quite by accident. A lot of sex scenes are crammed into the feature, some of which are erotically sound.
