Well, this isn’t necessarily a video to leave home for. Homebodies, a rather unspectacular tale, chronicles a couple’s moving day adventures between themselves, the moving man, some secretaries, and assorted relatives and hangers-on. The performances are generally good, but talents like Frank James, Nikki Randall and Tom Byron aren’t given anything different to do. The series of coupling and a threesome that the script calls for do little to excite, and it’s to the cast’s credit that they make them worth watching. Productions values are good, but since when do you hire one guy to move your entire house? Compared to the wealth of material available today, Homebodies gets average marks.
