Romance with a hint of mystery has always been Eric Edwards' strongest point.  I seem to be one of the few people who likes his comedy, Motel Sweets.  But Soft Warm Rain, in my opinion, has been his masterpiece up until now.  In Mirage, Edwards gives us Ashlyn Gere, an editor at Peter North's publishing house.  Her discovery is Kyle Collins (Edwards in an effective non-sex role) whose books have done well up till now, but his latest suffers from too much sex and collins' failure to show up at a promotional party to plug it.  Meanwhile, Gere is experiencing sexual dreams only to discover that her dreams are based on passages that Collins hasn't even written yet.

This superbly crafted story has superbly crafted sex scenes to accompany it, and Edwards has avoided pitfalls that we reviewers have been harping about for years.  The music is kept to a minimum; camera angles and body angles are normal and not artificially set up just to demonstrate penetration.  There is much caressing and loving and less accent on unemotional lust, although there's enough of it to satisfy fans of the same.  I particularly recommend the Trinity Loren (looking younger than ever), Marc Wallice and T.T. Boy trio and the threesome of Peter North, Alice Springs and my latest favorite, Taylor Wane, she of the British accent.

There's even a surprise ending that ties together all the loose ends of this superior video from a guy who shows us there's more to sexiness than the endless pounding that drives us all nuts.
