It's great to see a tape made by people who know what the hell they're talking about, and this is a prime example. Roy Boy and his partner Debra KNOW about tattoos — they're both well known inkers themselves — so they are able to delve much deeper into the subject, showing that tattoos aren't just pretty pictures, they're a lifestyle. They respect their subject as an art form, and give us a glimpse into the psyches of both those who wear the art and those who make it. Body piercing is also explored on this tape (which makes sense since many people who have tats have piercings, and vice versa), but it takes a secondary role to the tattooing. Although this tape will find its biggest audience among those already "into" tattooing, it's well worth recommending to those just discovering this fascinating sub-culture.
