Cecil Howard plays with reality-fantasy overlap in this 1981 classic. It's deliberately enigmatic, but full of poetic visual flourishes, extremely erotic and a pleasure to watch.
A young girl (Lysa Thatcher) comes of age through offbeat encounters with oddballs. Sex scenes include arousing foreplay and look natural (Linda Vale and Jamie Gillis – wow!).
Other pleasures include highly effective, pre-CGI special effects, and the legendary Kandi Barbour in a wet t-shirt. Plus ample extras (2 discs) and Kitty Media's beautiful digital transfer.

It's an erotic road show and a girls coming-of-age story all wrapped in one. Lysa Thatcher plays a girl whose mother picks up another lover, and after hearing them making love, she gets turned on. Later that night, the lover tries to seduce the girl, but he's caught. Embarrassed, Thatcher hits the road and hooks up with a series of wacky sexual crackpots, including a magician who can levitate her nude body. She eventually falls in with a sinister madam who runs a top-dollar outcall service. This is a good blend of Cecil Howard's visual style and a sex story that not only makes sense but is interesting to follow. Thatcher is wonderful as a young, innocent girl becoming aware of her (and others) sexuality, and experiencing a variety of sex thrills. Veronica Hart does a hilarious bit, and Jody Maxwell, a strong-fucking brunette, comes off exceptionally well.
