In the same way I was glowing about Buttsizer, I'm crazy about Flying High for the simple fact of a non-sex performance.  Get this, a NON-SEX performance.  That's right.

Jonathan Morgan pulls off one of the ultimate scene-stealers I've ever seen in the XXX biz, well, at least since video has been around.  Morgan's is just a cameo, mind you, but watch him as he does Richard Widmark in Kiss of Death.  It's hilarious.

Flying High is a nice little love story set in wartime England, 1943.  T.T. Boy and Marc Wallice are not-shot pilots whose bombing run of Germany has been cancelled due to inclement weather.  They go to a pub for some brew and some action.  Boy and Wallice run into the colonel of their squadron (Morgan) whose sole function on earth is to make the lives of his men miserable.  Morgan gets on Boy's case about his lack of a pass - and this is where I lost it.  It's a wonderful scene.  When Morgan's character walks off screen, to some degree, the production loses a bit of its heart.

Despite that fact, this is really a good show.  Marc Wallice falls in love with a local girl (Tiffany Mynx), but is hurt to find out she's in love with another guy - a guy who "makes me laugh - you need to laugh during these times," she says.  Only the other guy turns out to be T.T.  Wallice becomes embittered and wants to fuck everything in sight, but in the end, doncha know it, love conquers all.

The style of the production is Forties' sepia-toned, and the sex is romantic, yet, just nasty enough.  Mynx gets two good scenes with Wallice (a good spooning session) and with T.T., while Melanie Moore plays a barmaid who serves as a willing receptacle for Wallice's angst fuck - it's a grand style barstool boinking.  Leanna Foxxx plays Morgan's big-titted wife who's not adverse to a little action behind the lines.  Foxxx has a girl-girl scene with Moore and goes down on Melanie like a human dustbuster.

Director Jim Enright has pulled off a minor miracle of sorts.  Considering that there's only two male performers in this ensemble, Enright has done a solid job of orchestrating these ring-around-the-rosey love match-ups without making a minimal cast look too obvious.  Add Flying High to your wartime fuck film specialty section.  You think I'm kidding.
