Shot, I would guess, approximately the same time as Gerein' Up, Just for Tonight has relatively the same look but lacks the interesting characters and plot structure that made Gerein' Up so sensational. However, as a sex tape, it's very much first-rate!
The scene is a pick-up joint that holds many dark places where customers meet in an almost confrontational arena. Stranded motorist Mike Horner proves an easy target for Heather Hart who wants it fast and quick.
Ashlyn Gere, making a career of playing sexually defiant women, walks into the bar and truck driver Scott Irish is convinced he's going to score with her. Well, he does, but in a manner of speaking Irish gets a 20-second (by my watch) quasi-blow job that goes absolutely nowhere. The best scene in the batch of these, "quick, fuck me" scenes has Irish pinning Cassidy against a brick glass wall and taking her doggie style.
Gere's "I'm a tigress on the prowl" spiel gets a little self-conscious towards the end, but viewers will find this Michael Craig entry moody, atmospheric and entertaining. With its simple, yet pretty packaging, Just For Tonight should score high rentals.
