For a dance tape, major effort is pumped into Teasers to make it stand out from its cookie cutter brethren, but with decidedly mixed results.  Teasers is shot on film.  What a waste of film.  The story follows the exploits of two college guys named Mike and George who walk into a bar and stumble across a lost credit card.  Faster than you can say Michael Milken, the guys tap into their new credit line by hiring a bunch of strippers to come over to their living room for a private show.

Not that the idea is bad by any stretch, it's just that the execution of the concept is paralyzingly monotonous, with maddeningly repetitious music.  Each strip routine is lensed precisely as the one before it, with Michael and George supplying the expected reaction shots with drooling regularity.  The gimmick works well perhaps the first or second go-around, but believe me, by the time the eighth dancer rolls around in this trumped-up cavalcade, you're ready to dial 911, which is exactly what happens when some good citizen blows the whistle.

At least prison provides a change of venue, but prison (and one more strip routine from a lady cop) seems to be where the camera's mobility was locked up during the course of this shoot.  Teasers is a featurette geared for an audience that is so enamored with strip-dancing that it can't seen the forest for the trees.

Dealers should note that Julie Strain is featured on the boxcover, though she tends to get lost in this ensemble.  And while this is not one of NightVision's more stellar releases, be on the lookout for some exquisite product from them in 1994.  More about that in upcoming issues.

Cast: Melody Johnson, Amy Rochelle, Lauren Hays, Ashlie Rhey, Lisa Sutton, Melinda Greene, Julie Strain, Annette Burger and Holly Spencer.
