Calculating capitalist Don Fernando is hoping that "Watt's Cookin'", his ghetto-located deli/sushi bar/rib joint will go Chapter Eleven os he can collect on a stock scam, but the only thing bankrupt here are the performances. (The first rule of filmmaking is that if your cast can't even speak English, don't give them a mouthful of indigestible dialogue.)
Waitress Melanie receives a mediocre tip from Don Fernando; deliveryboy Jake Steed quickly unloads his special sauce in cook Makalah Leigh's hair pie; patrons Keanna and Sean Michaels have an amorous flashback while waiting for their food to arrive. Only when Michaels sneaks into the kitchen (to slip his tube steak to Leigh and Ashley Yung) does the tape start to smoke. Asian Appetite is your basic junk food tape: cheap, filling, but stale.
