Combine the elements of the XXX versions of "Cheers", those being Smears and Rears, and you come up with Bottoms Up. The name doesn't rhyme and neither does the fact that Bottoms Up bears little relevance to an anal-themed feature. Anyhow, the cast, at least, works hard delivering decent performances.

Randy West plays an owner of a bar that's having financial difficulty. Coincidentally, all the employees and patrons of the bar have the same first names as the characters on the TV show. Coincidentally, in adult video, everytime West plays the owner of a bar, it's opening the page to Chapter 11. Why is that? Remember Best Butte in the West from last year?

Suffice to say, a contest is in order to stimulate trade -- the choosing of a Miss Bottoms Up, the winner gets the pink slip to West's corvette (she thinks). Only West wants to palm off a beer truck instead.

Straight out of the Teri Weigel school of sexual sound effects. Lacy Rose is pretty voluble in her strap-on scene with Debi Diamond, with Lacy getting the business end of the shaft.

Steven St. Croix is pretty well into character with his portrayal of Norm the mailman and gets to nail Nicole London in the feature's opener. After a standard missionary-heavy scene with Lacy Rose, West comes on in the finale to do a threeway with Diamond and London. Unfortunately, Randy reacts more like a guest on a slab in the morgue. Maybe he's thinking about how he's going to get screwed in the plot's resolution. West loses the 'Vette. You figure the winner.

Hardly an original concept, Bottom Up is reasonably entertaining even if the title suggests other forms of activity.
