Mike Horner returns as private eye Harlow in this lightweight drama that has Mike vainly searching for some original footage during the show's first half hour. Unfortunately, all he can find are Sarah-Jane Hamilton, Joey Verducci, Bionca, Lilli Xene, Fallon and others from Rainwoman 7 via the magic of video clips.
He also finds the same sets and extras and bartender (played by Alex Sanders). This time, Sanders gets Kylie Ireland. (It was Horner in #7.) Mark Davis is also back, but instead of Kitty Yung (in what was probably her best scene ever, in #7), Mark gets three ladies on the bar's stage; Jasmine Aloha, Amanda Rae and Lynden Johnson. Not bad for a group scene, but it doesn't hold a candle to the Davis/Yung coupling.
Danyel Cheeks plays a rich bitch who has hired Horner and who takes time out from counting her money to give Mike a roll in the hay, or at least on her couch. (Some excellent set decoration here.) Kitty is on hand also to join with Steve Drake, who may be playing a butler, but due to the poor sound quality, I couldn't tell. Other than that, this is an acceptable entry, but enough of the scenes from earlier volumes, please.
Stock with earlier volumes in the series.
