Remember what happened when the ACLU tried to prevent Gary Gilmore's execution? Their input was needlessly obtrusive and prompted lots of wacky stunts from Gary. The subtext is that sometimes it's best to just leave it alone - advice the casting and editing decision-makers on Dance Naked could have benefited from.
Alex Sanders and Tom Chapman are first seen in a yuppie bar conversing in ridiculous WASP-type accents. They laugh at gimpy little Marty Kronski (Blade Baren), and bartender Joey Silvera regales them with the legend of this guy; once a womanizing hero, now he's a zero.
Melissa Monet provides the best scene as a golddigger who wants to see auto salesman Alex's Porsche. Their scene involves lots of foreplay and a great blowjob. Camera angles during their missionary are equally good, especially the insertion. Even more effective than the usual gynecological insert is a full body shot that focuses on their faces; subtle realism, and it's executed very well. Their wonderful doggie and messy facial will have viewers doing their own personal Mashed Potato.
Dallas D'Amour and Frank Towers' missionary starts off pretty well with a clear insertion shot. He pulls out for a 69, then slides back in for a sweaty doggie. Nothing we haven't seen before.
Frank hits on the bar-princess (Dallas D'Amour again), who initially blows him off. Once he reveals he's written a song called "Dance Naked" and spins around in a few irresistable disco moves, she's all his. Their scene is noteworthy for a lengthy anal Watusi.
Joey and Dallas (not D'Amour), and Tom and Nikki have unexciting and badly edited scenes that aren't worthy of description. An ending to Marty Kronski's story must have been cut out; it's nowhere to be seen.
Gary Gilmore finally died before a firing squad. Dance Naked never even got a change to do The Hustle.
