A magical mystery tour of erotic imagery Shock blazes new trails in adult video. This is sex as art on the masterpiece level. In fact. there's so much fucking eye candy in this epic-length video, you may need an ocular root canal by the time you're finished.
A sequel to last year's multi-award-winning Latex, Shock once again stars Tyffany Million as the psychiatrist who, since receiving sex-freak Jon Dough's magical "touch," has reinvented herself as a leather wearin', Spaghetti Western stylin', psycho bounty hunter. With the help of gun-toting sidekicks Peter North and John Decker, she tracks down cuckoos who've flown the nest. Her assignment this time is to take an incredible voyage into Dough's catatonic mind, to free an innocent nurse (Shayla LaVeaux) abducted during an ill-fated electric shock treatment.
Can you say, "head trip?"
The opening sex scene features Jeanna Fine in Marilyn Monroe mode, seducing Dough in his padded cell. Color is introduced into fine's grainy, black and white world in the form of a vibrant pink vibrator, applied to her equally vibrant pink pussy. The contrast of this small "snatch" of color against the otherwise gray background is the stuff of which Ted Turner's wet dreams are made, and is a harbinger of visual mind games to come.
Ona Zee earns a non-sex role nod as the fascist doctor who orders the shock treatment, and who pushes Million through the extra-dimensional portal into dough's waiting cerebellum. As Million and her two cohort make their way through his art-deco mind-scape, they encounter one increasingly elaborate sexual vignette after another.
For example, a five-girl masturbation scene is a fantasy riff on the Carrie Fisher/Jabba the Hut scene from The Empire Strikes Back, with Tricia Yen as the chained plaything of a Tor Johnson lookalike (apparently representing Dough's Freudian id). The scene begins with Yen fucking a nasty dildo with a detachable tip that looks like a prop left over from the latest James Bond movie, and winds up with Kia hosing herself down in a pit before being noshed on and properly soaked by North's and Decker's hoochie hoses.
The video climaxes in a choral gospel number (!) starring dozens of video-cloned Dino Ninn soul singers. Fine reprises her Marilyn Monroe shtick in front of a giant, blue-backlit fan, before she and Sharon Kane share a beatific fuck with Sean Rider as a flock of white doves fills the air. Hey, who needs drugs when you've got Michael Ninn?
The vid's one (small) disappointment is the heavily promoted scene in which two stone gargoyles (T.T. Boy and Vince Vouyer) sprout wood and welcome LaVeaux to Dough's nightmare. Like the initial sex scene, this is also lensed in black and white, though not for art's sake. Rather, the boys' well-earned sweat caused their blue body make-up to run. Oh, well.
Pre-noms are mandatory for Shock's direction, editing, music and art direction. It's also a shoe-in pre-nominee as Best Video of the year. Retailers, you remember how big Latex was last year. Don't be caught short on this one.
