If awards for originality and set design were ever given out for the T&A feature, this tape, devoted to girls of the airwaves, would be carting home bronze in a wheelbarrow. On the other hand, if awards for verité were a consideration, Girls of Radio, Talk, Rock and Shock would be doing time on Devil's Island based on the fact that XXX's Felecia appears in one segment and is palmed off as a promo girl from a Houston radio station. Yeah, right.
All of which leads one to suspect how many of the other calendar girl-types that appear in this cavalcade are legitimate issue. Assuming that a Congressional ethics investigation doesn't ensue, put this show on the top of your list when stocking new items for your store. It just may be Playboy's best to date. The opening segment alone should be enough to offer convincing proof of that, featuring Kim Egler, Kat McKenna, Catherine Shaw and Playmate of the Year Julie Cialini in one of hte most lusciously contrived (and designed) stip-to-nude segments you'll find on video.
Score high Arbitron ratings, too, for Howard Stern girls Amy Lynn and Tempest -- Amy shaving herself, and Tempest showering her outrageously curved torso. Group and solo stints are generously sprinkled in this mix with so many intriguing, hi-stim visual elements at work, it would be a seriously daunting task to cover them all adequately. Even mundane, oft-repeated subjects, such as Ft. Lauderdale's on-air Tracy Ray working out is cast (literally) in a glow that's near-to-being film noirish. A segment featuring Seka who has a radio show in Chicago, is so negligible as to be hardly worth recommending this tape simply for curiosity's sake.
Suffice to say, Girls of Radio is 50,000 watts of incredibly engineered T&A that adds new meaning to the phrase "drive time."
