Given a hot cast, a literate script, and a finite shooting schedule, should the director opt to let the sexual hijinks run roughshod over the story - or should he try to corral some acting performances?

Luckily, Jim Enright (Risqué Burlesque) has proven that he can do both.  NYDP (which resembles TV's Homicide) narrows the gap between the accepted quality level in adult features and their actual potential.

We won't attempt to encapsulate the embroiling plot; that's a pleasure you'll have to experience.  Detective T.T. Boy has an especially nasty anal interview with suspect Kaitlyn Ashley, and later his partner Tom Byron climbs aboard to make a Chelsea Blue d.p. sandwich.

With sure aim, Jonathan Morgan pulls his rod for Yasmin, the last of three liaisons that feature facial splashes.  Dominique' scenes are pretty tepid, and seem out of place among the poppin' cops.

The dialogue/sex is well balanced but it's not volcanic as an all-sex vid - nor should it be expected to be.  A very watchable feature.
