Mix one part Godfather, one part Strip Tease and numerous parts of Buck Adams "bluster 'n gunplay" style of filmmaking.  The result is a potent molotov cocktail of raw carnality, but the recipe is unstable, and sometimes shoots itself in its own foot.

The ballyhooed "70 millimeter" panorama look, while sharper than typical adult films, isn't put to any particularly impressive use.  Your standard Andrew Blake movie looks as good, if not better.

Bardoux, the main attraction at Buck's club, "and one helluva pole dancer!) and also his main squeeze, is the object of Tony Tedeschi's affections.  Tony, son of a Mafia boss, abducts Bardoux in lieu of Buck's $150,000 "loan," thus setting in motion a game of rivalry and revenge.

Highlights of the show are Bardoux's (separate) couplings with Buck and Tony - the former being a seaside romp with superb oral action, and the latter a rough anal ride.  Like a candle lit at both ends, Bardoux is smokin'!

What would a porn movie be without lots of gratuitous sex?  Unmotivated yet thoroughly tasty lesbian sessions are a prime example, and who better than Felecia and Madeline Knight to take the honors?  We could watch them just kiss all day, but these two carpet munchers are at the top of their form.

For full-out, animalistic fucking, a motel room tryst with Melissa Hill and T.T. Boy is highly explosive, but the pop shot is slightly obscured.  Therein lies the real problem with Night Club - it's not the hype, it's the sex coverage, which misses initial penetration shots and never really delivers on screen all the real steam rising off of the performers.

A visit to Night Club is well worth the cover charge, but like the drinks it's a bit watered-down.
