It's amazing what a few Vaseline-smeared lenses and soft lighting can achieve.  The 21 Playmates in this volume still look pretty spectacular, considering the fact that most of 'em had their fifteen minutes of fame in the mid-80's.  Like the Energizer rodent, they're still going and going.

The format is more repetitive than Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, as each original still photo layout is revisited while the babes talk about life-changing experiences in front of the camera.  When it finally comes time to create the new moving pictorials, we're treated to the usual beaches, gym workouts, wispy bedrooms and country rolls in the hay.  Every so often the direction takes a more creative bent, such as the noirish Postman Always Rings Twice setting with March 1986 centerfold Kim Morris, or naked grape-stomping in a wine vat.  The vintage is strong and sweet, and the mix of girls should appeal to the general consumer's palate, so if the Playboy line does well for you, we recommend stocking this volume.
