"Post-apocalyptic survivors struggle to repopulate the planet."
Even though it's hardly an original concept, for the first half-hour or so, Breeders strikes an entertaining balance of sex, story and action. The fucking is pretty hot, most notably the Nadia Moore/Steve Drake pairing, and the mate-swapping mini-orgy with Kaitlyn Ashley, Dawn Burning, Alex Sanders and Sean Rider. The stunt work, augmented by top-notch videography, sound and editing, blows away just about anything we've ever seen in a porn vid.
But then things come to a halt as boxcover babe Gina LaMarca and partner Jon Sevirini show up just long enough to pad out the short running time with a pair of decent but otherwise unnecessary sex scenes. The heat of their first encounter is dampened by repeated (and ill-advised) cut-always to an approaching pair of motorcycle riders. The placement of their second scene is so awkward within the context of the story as to be laughable. Also, the often-stilted dialogue, particularly Drake's droning on about his "mission," grows tiresome, even irritating, by vid's end.
More objective editing from the halfway mark would likely have rendered a better product. Because of the mix of action and sex, plus LaMarca's celeb status, chances are it'll rent big anyway.
