While not as strong as the first edition, this installment is just as brutal. Some scenes might degenerate into not-so-artistic beatings, but a couple of moments shine through. The best leaves the viewer with the image of one sub dangling and screaming from a suspension bridge, forty feet above the water. Also a short series of suspension shots at the end is a nice capper.
