Narrating in a monotone reminiscent of humorist Ben Stein (but minus the humor) licensed sex therapist Dr. Joel Bross redundantly explains that the literal translation of Kama Sutra means "lessons of love." Yawn. So much for the educational portion of our show.
At this point on an anonymous porn starlet with a disingenuous smile - and looking terribly uncomfortable with words containing more than two syllables - takes over the host's seat, where she proceeds to unspool a series of mediocre clips from not-so-recent adult vids starring the usual round-up of swinging dicks, plus a roll call of starlets nearly as anonymous as the hostess herself. Each clip is supposed to illustrate a portion of the Kama Sutra, as Bross drones on the soundtrack with such illuminating advice as: "See what works best for you and enjoy!" or "Hygiene is important." Thanks, doc. Next time I'm digging a septic tank I won't run off to bang the wife without taking a shower first. Unless that works for me best.
Kama Sutra 2000 is nothing more than a haphazardly-tossed together comp tape masquerading as a sexual aid; yet it neither raises one's temperature nor one's consciousness.
