Tight Spot has all the earmarks of an R-rated potboiler: the sleazy P.I. (Martino), his sexy girlfriend (Farrah), a mysterious millionaire (Horner), his estranged but horny wife (McCullough) and the "mystery woman" (Sinn). Add in nominations-worthy cinematography in lush locales like Mazatlan and the tried-and-true San Francisco, and you've got a movie that clicks on all cylinders. Trouble is, while the sex is amazingly hot in most of the seven sex scenes, neither the script (very reminiscent of mainstream's Against All Odds) nor the actors are quite mainstream quality. Of course, that only makes Tight Spot better than 95% of the other XXX tapes on the market—not exactly the booby prize.

Best of show are both scenes with McCullough, who fucks Horner frontwards, backwards and upwards, even after sneering, "I hate you." Better still is her mish 'n' doggie encounter with Martino on a Mexican beach in the tape's finale. First runner-up, however, has to be the three-way with Missy, Fallon and Mickey G, where the gals lick each other's pussies before Mickey joins in to lay Missy as she lies across Fallon's back. A double mish and cumshot to the ass climax the scene.

In one of her first-ever roles, Farrah also shows why she's a fast-rising star. Her sensual anal scene with Martino in front of the ski lodge's fireplace gets this film off to a fine start, and her mish-and-horsie with Horner on his yacht is nearly as good. Nikki Sinn, as Horner's ex-boss, also turns in a fine sexual performance with John Decker. Look for 69, reverse cowgirl, sidesaddle and doggie-anal positions.

This is definitely a couples film, and belongs squarely in a prominent position in that section.
