Hollywood didn't do such a great job with Gerald Petievich's acclaimed and convoluted novel of violence, cop corruption, and counterfeiting, To Live and Die in L.A., so it's not surprising that VCA doesn't have much better luck. But they deserve credit for trying like hell to tell a tough story.

The sex is excellent, and of special note is T.T. Boy's nasty opener with Vicca, and Nick East's bout with tiny gorgeous blond fuck toy Victoria Basque, a name and natural body to watch out for. T.T. Boy is perfectly cast as a cruel and amoral counterfeiter; nominate him for Best Actor, and Kyle Stone for Best Supporting Actor. Tony Tedeschi is also good as a cop both weary of and mired in the corruption around him, but he can't struggle free of the flawed script that loads him down with almost all the patchy exposition. Studio-bound, but worth a look.
