This candy-colored vid is less about personal sexuality than it is about the effect of high-powered movie lights on the reflective skin of its delicious stars —not necessarily a bad thing for the softcore market, although veteran viewers may have a "been there, done that" reaction. Close Up doesn't stray very far from the tried-and-true formulas of strip tease, lesbian chow-downs and hot oil massages, but it gets to the point without resorting to a single work of spoken dialogue. Less is more than enough, in this case.

A few of the girls are recognizable from the hard side of the business, and they have their moves down pat (although the featurette doesn't venture into the pink). What it lacks in real passion it makes up for in straightforward, but sultry, camerawork.
