Clever in spots, this sometimes funny behind-the-scenes look at the porn business has several qualities which recommend it.  The story finds director Eric Edwards, star of the original X Factor (a multi-award winning feature film from 1984), trying to complete the series in 1998.  But with actors who can't act and an eight-page script, he reluctantly must go the cheap route, making for some cute moments.

The only steamy sex scene occur at the end of the video, when Dave Hardman and Steve Hatcher d.p. Candy Vegas, who gives a nice performance.  The rest of the scenes are okay, with Herschel Savage fucking Alyssa Allure, Hardman doing Sinderella in a decent scene, some by-the-numbers lesbian stuff and Dick Nasty and Jamie Lee in a hospital sequence.  Hardman gives the best acting performance of the bunch, and once again may get a Best Supporting Actor nod.

Recommended as couples fare and for those who enjoyed the first two in the series.
