A fine-looking production with attractive performers, nice locations and solid sex is often undone by poor editing (what's with all the freaking' cut-aways to car parts, anyhow?) and some of the most badly-improvised and lamely dubbed dialogue ever committed to tape: (lots of muttering, harumphing, and throat-clearing)
Man: "I'm your ride. (walking) Follow me."
Woman: (follows) "Where's the car?"
Man: "It's right over here... Right around here. (turns corner, continues walking) This way."
Woman: "Okay..."
Man: (stops at car) "Here we go. Here's the car."
Woman: (stops, looks at car) "What a cute car."
Man: "Yes." (It is.) "It's red." (That too.)
Woman: "Yeah." (Really!)
The whole movie is like listening to theater for the blind.
We can't help but wonder: Do consumers really prefer a substandard dub in place of the original, authentic soundtrack? Subtitles might have been the way to go here; as it stands, this one's more likely to inspire laughter than lust.
