Shot in the style of a rock video, this film is chopped up the same way a prep cook juliennes vegetables. Wicked Covergirls plays like one super-hectic runway model party -- with dildos. Sure, it's nice to look at; but it might be better as background party fodder than something to sit down and watch with both eyes.
The vogue-ing starlets model clothes, eye wear, lipstick and numerous other fashion accessories. The high point involves the super-athletic Serenity doing a handstand while her legs are in the splits. Of course, she is naked; and Ruby is right where she should be, feeding on the lean cuisine -- a physically amazing image that makees one want to jump through the TV glass and participate. In a skilled piece of choreography, Serenity rolls directly onto the floor, legs still fully split, and starts ripping into the pink salad of voluptuous Ruby. Hot. Serenity's butt is powerful and oceanic.
Jill Kelly fans will get off seeing her as a brunette; also some exciting, lesser-known faces appear in the mix. But the relentless audio track and chic MTV look limits what you can see of, and hear from, the girls. It's a choppy collage. One can't help but think of this hip endeavor as pandering to the mainstream; i.e., it reads a lot like slick, safe Playboy-style material.
