This porn take-off on the mainstream film Ed Wood usually hits its intended mark, thanks to consistently strong performances.

Alec Metro essays the Johnny Depp role as the cross-dressing filmmaker Ed Would, who spends just as much time getting his dick sucked as he does making films that suck dick. When producer Herschel Savage asks him to find a "Marilyn Monroe type," Alec doesn't seem to realize that the ditsy bleached blonde he's fucking (Dakota, whose lush curves do wonders for her white angora sweater) is the perfect girl for the role. He notices that sweater, though. Herschel finally finds his sex symbol in innocent-looking redhead Heaven Leigh, and makes short shrift of her virtue as Temptress looks on.

Meanwhile, Alec's shooting more than just a Z-grade movie starring Christgen Wolf and Michael J. Cox. The fact that Metro and Wolf seem perfectly happy to concentrate exclusively on each other is capitalized upon beautifully by director Digiorgio, with a shot of Michael J. standing off to the side, stroking only to stay erect, and rolling his eyes in an expression of amused exasperation. Fiero and Steve Hatcher mesh terrifically in an authentic-looking coupling (with anal), but their encounter loses a point or two for some audible off-camera direction.
