This is stand-out triple-X comedy which takes some double-fisted shots at Our Biz and certain prominent representatives therein. Elizabeth X and Joel Lawrence are a married porn couple who, as we meet them, are doing their last-ever smut scene for a preening, prissy prick of a director, dubbed here in a masterpiece of veiled referencing as "Thomas Paul" (Jonathan Morgan).
Once they've hung up their spurs, the happy couple heads out on the road in a motorhome to see the country. They don't get far, however, before fate intervenes to strand them temporarily in the boonies and, in the end, to send them, hat in hand, back to the sex industry.
The sex here is reasonably solid, but the real story is the very impressive writing, and the pre-nom-worthy comedic acting turns delivered by Lawrence, Morgan and Anthony Crane. Crane in particular is hilarious as a yokel who at one point supplies the flat-broke Lawrence with work collecting porcine spoo. This is comedy as broad as Jake Steed's dickhead, but who watches porn for dry wit?
