Judging from the end credits, including one thanking Nicole Sheridan and Voodoo for doing their (reasonably hot, if short) anal scene in 27-degree weather, and another lauding star Stephanie Swift for "coming through in a pinch," Roadblock was a somewhat troubled shoot - and it shows.

The plot, which ostensibly revolves around Swift pining for, and eventually joining, bad-guy Randy Spears, has far too many digressions to be worthwhile - or it needs to be an hour longer to establish its characters to the point that viewers might care about them. As it is, the only ones that come through with any clarity, despite numerous voice-overs, are Swift's waitress pal Asia Carrera and sheriff Herschel Savage, only one of which will the viewer want to spend any quality time with.

Oddly enough (or perhaps not, considering it's porn), the likeable Carrera and the nasty Savage have a scene together - in the cramped back seat of a classic Chevy, where the Asian beauty can barely find room to 69, much less hump Savage in two cowgirl positions. Somewhat better is Carrera's b/w fantasy sequence with Swift, where the gals pleasure each other outdoors on a picnic table.

Perhaps the high point of the show is the mish and doggie action between gangster Julian and henchwoman Julia Ann, though Swift's final mish and cowgirl encounter with Spears ain't chopped liver, but overall, scenes are too short, and the only ones who really seem to be enjoying themselves, oddly enough, are Sheridan and Voodoo. Go figure...

While there are technically eight scenes, two are solos and one simply a b.j. Still, it seems a shame to have wasted such a huge cast on such a mediocre project.
