Bright-eyed Tommi Rose gets even brighter-eyed when she gets together with Erik Everhard for a long, passionate scene. To watch these two enthusiastic performers push each other to higher and higher levels of pleasure is to understand the appeal of gonzo. Pre-nom for Best Couples Scene -- Video. Kaylee, just 18, is first put in the mood by West's interview, then handed over to Mario for a scene where she goes from self-conscious to wanton, watching herself in the mirror as she straddles Mario in reverse cowgirl and taking it up the vosburg, crowing "I like that!" before Mario explodes in an internal pop. Final scene, with Joelean and Vince Vouyer, is good, but these pros don't have the naughty thrill of the newbies.
The semi-retirement of West to mostly behind-the-camera duties (he says he will do scenes on request by talent only, now) enables him to display his aw-shucks charm and camera-wielding abilities to the fullest. As long as he keeps picking good guys to go with his usual good choices in female talent, Up and Cummers can continue well into its second hundred volumes.
