News anchors Kira Kener and James Bonn have a $1,000 bet over who can come back with the better news story. It would seem that Bonn has it sewn up early on, when he discovers city councilman Tyce Buné picking up hooker Salena Del Ray and taking her to a cheap motel. And in fact, he does win round one when all Kira can come up with is being fucked by an undercover vice cop. But Kira redeems herself the next day by posing as a young actress at the mercy of agent Michael J. Cox's casting couch, while Bonn spends his day tied to a bondage cross as Taylor St. Clair and Halli Aston pleasure themselves and each other. Inevitably, Kener and Bonn must get together - but screenwriter Raven Touchstone has seen to it that that happens after a plate-breaking fight in the station cafeteria - with the action stopped momentarily so the performers can be outfitted with safety goggles and helmets! Kira certainly looks strange riding Bonn cowgirl style with those goggles on.
That's one of the nice things about this movie: It never takes itself too seriously - as when Kira changes scenes by pushing the old image off-screen by brute force, or Bonn hams it up as St. Clair attaches a "20-pound" weight to his dick. And if viewers want to find out who won the bet, they have to log onto Vivid's Website.
A good effort all around, with fine cinematography by Ralph Parfait.
