A chance meeting brings together business executive Brad Armstrong with Sydnee Steele, who plays the role of Heroin. She brings spice to his otherwise blah married sex life, escalating to the point where Armstrong needs the woman as much as her pharmacological namesake. He fires her name off the cuff for the name of a new perfume, and ultimately imagines his wife (Keri Windsor) in a g/g tryst with Steele. Couples fare? Not really. Engaging? You bet — Wicked takes a gamble by trying something contrarian to the usual couples-friendly thing, and scores with this story line.
The transfer is very well done, but falls sort of excellent due to a few dropouts on the disc. The extras are worth watching, with an audio commentary by Michael Raven (Heroin is Raven's first feature for Wicked) and Steele. The behind-the-scenes is edited as slick and is as well-done as the feature.
