The Barlow Affair shows a young Teri Weigel as a newly-hired assistant, setting up the office and making business transactions in her boss's absence. Her business transactions are always steamy, successful, and appreciated by her boss. In transfer to DVD, the movie acquired a barely visible moire pattern, and a significant amount of edge pixelation. The disc is of good quality, and the pixilated edges are probably only visible due to the harsh white backgrounds.
Haunted Nights is a favorite of many and a winner of multiple AVN Awards in 1994 (the list is available on The Barlow Affair). The flick features Jonathan Morgan as the comic lead in this Abbott and Costello style, haunted house comedy. The original VHS won a variety of awards including art direction and best video. The feature is done justice, as the DVD is of commendable quality with clear images and true colors and saturation. Under a microscope, critics may find slight moire in the darker scenes.
