We've reviewed these DVDs together because they use exactly the same format. The viewer gets a choice of two gals — in Interactive Sex Splash (ISS), it's Vylet Luv and Shay (not Shay Sweet); while in Vivid's Virtual Vixens (VVV), it's Inari Vachs and Sky — and either can be watched doing a sexy striptease and naked teasing beyond that, or doing hardcore with Mark Davis or some other porn stud. .
It's in that last (of three) sections where the multi-angle choices are available. Either two or three angles are offered for any one scene, and to help the viewer pick (or to be a pain in the ass, as some might have it), an insert box of each other angle is visible toward the bottom of the scene, so the viewer knows what s/he will be getting before switching. After choosing a gal, three "super categories" present themselves: the first two being tease; the last, hardcore. In these categories there are three to six choices of scene, with animated "buttons" revealing at least part of the action "within." Click on any one and the action will start.
One of our few quibbles is that no scene automatically plays after another is through; the viewer has to affirmatively choose another from the menu, even though logic would dictate that if the viewer has seen one bit of action, s/he's likely to want to see the next one in order.
While ISS has a whole second side devoted to bloopers and hot scenes from Vivid's past, VVV still has the edge, offering an extra scene that has both Inari and Sky delivering a blowjob (with a second angle), a very enjoyable "behind-the-scenes" video and a slide show of at least three dozen images from the production — all of which makes this one worthy of Award nomination.
Image-wise, both are superb: Crisp, clear pictures with no problems in either still-frame or slo-mo. Kudos to creator Dyanna Lauren for putting together a fine package that lends itself to many sequels.
