Pulp Friction, which bears only a cursory resemblance to the Quentin Tarantino film which inspired its name, may be remembered for, as the credits announce, "Introducing J.R. Carrington," a woman best known for her anal work. Here, she gets banged up the chocolate trail by a long-haired Vince Vouyer. The star, however, was Tina Tyler, in one of her last features before leaving the business in '95 — and as a hardboiled kidnapper (and eventually lover) of Shelby Stevens, she's in fine form, both in dialogue and moving her pussy under Alex Sanders.

Though credited to Anthony Spinelli, it's more likely that son Mitchell did the majority of the directing chores here, but after seeing the hot action, customers aren't likely to quibble.

The image quality is good, though artifacts show up in still frame and slo-mo. (Watching Crystal Wilder's gall bladder scar disappear and reappear during reverse cowgirl fucking was fun.) Extras include five non-animated chapter buttons, a 20-image photo gallery, trailers for 12 Pleasure/Plum features and brief text bios of Carrington, Tyler and Stevens.
