In the grand tradition of the most finely-woven serial storytelling, this closing chapter of the sophomore cycle of John Stagliano’ vampire saga Voracious brings the seemingly disparate narrative threads of each preceding volume crashing together for a breathtaking, truly operatic finale.
The over three-and-a-half-hour installment kicks off with James Deen’s mysterious vampire hunter closing in on San Francisco palm reader/possible lone surviving vamp Stoya. Using the vialed cum he carries on him to tranquilize her (it’s established in volume 1 that cum has a roofie-like effect on the undead), he takes her captive and begins torturing her to tell him whether in fact there are any more of her kind left. Of course his brand of torture involves lots of face-fucking and stimulation of her genitals.
We then cut to European vampire Adrianna (co-producer Lea Lexis), who’s been hiding out in the area, as she meets up with her blood slave, Wolf Hudson, who informs her that he’s caused her enemy Vlad (Rocco Siffredi) to learn of her whereabouts. Extremely unchaste convent student Chastity Lynn, Wolf explains, tipped Vlad off after connecting with him through the camming service Wolf operates (as seen in volumes 2 and 3). Following this confession, Wolf and Lea engage in a literal dance of lust that segues into some very acrobatic, very passionate anal.
Back to James and Stoya, he continues to ply her for information while plying her holes (complete as well with plenty of hard-charging anal), and a funny thing happens: a degree of actual fondness seems to sprout between them which soon enough blossoms into full-blown Stockholm syndrome-esque love.
Meanwhile, at Chastity’s convent, Mother Superior Rain DeGrey carries on with the twisted punishments she doles out upon her devilish pupils—in this case, having them shove various rubber apparatuses, including crucifix-shaped ones, up their assholes—after which we learn that she’s in collusion with Lea to offer up two of the girls as bait for Vlad.
Finally, in the crackling climax on disc two, the pair of girls DeGrey picked out, Roxy Raye and Ashley Fires, join Skin Diamond in a fluorescence-splashed, torrid lesbian three-way that includes Raye getting d.p.’d with glow-in-the-dark crucifix dildos; Vlad then shows up, and DeGrey begs him to punish her for her wicked ways, which he does, pulling her into the debauchery after he’s plowed the asses of Raye and Fires for awhile. The tables turn on Vlad after that, however, with an unforgettable conclusion in which, while confronting Lea, he gets paralyzed by a surprise spray of cum from Raye’s ass, then impaled on a trio of wooden spikes … following which, Lea crawls to him and delivers his very last blowjob as he lies dying.
This is some of the most virtuoso, sure to be long-talked-about work John Stagliano has ever produced, and likely to only grow in its impressiveness with repeat viewings and the passage of time. Will there be a Voracious: Season 3? Only Stagliano can answer that, but if so, he’s set quite a towering bar for himself to live up to.
Included with this volume is a stills-illustrated booklet with synopses of all 18 episodes in the season.
